The dramatic shift in fashion means our styling has to keep evolving with time as new trends emerge. Therefore, in order to be unique and different with your style, you have to be innovative when pairing your outfits. One of the recent trends is the animal print and the most common is the leopard print which has warmed its way into our closet in the form of handbags, scarf, shoe, sandals, trouser, jewellery, belt, nails, tops, dress etc. Almost every fashion item has a leopard prints design such that it is very rare not to have one piece of this print in your closet; hence the need to be creative when pairing it with other outfits.
I can never really explain my love for leopard prints; I think I have almost every accessory in leopard print. So here are some creative ways you can wear leopard prints and look absolutely gorgeous.
Fashion blogger and stylist Folake Kuye-Huntoon of StylePantry in a leopard print blazer and leather trousers. This is another casual look to make a style statement; I love the look because of its simplicity – less colour and sparsely accessorised. You can wear this for a casual outing with friends, an event or a date.
Me rocking the print on print trend; of course I had to do it in leopard prints. I wore this to church and this style can also be used for an occassion/event.
Singer Adrienne Bailon in a Topshop leopard print trouser. This outfit is simple, edgy and classy; you can wear this for a date, outing with friends, or an event.
Fashion blogger Stella Uzo Adewunmi of Jadore Fashion in Asos dress and leopard print accessories. This is an elegant look for church, dinner or an event.
Nollywood’s Rita Dominic looks gorgeous in this outfit. The total ensemble defines simplicity and class. This outfit is a goal-getter for a date, casual outing or an event. White is the new black and never goes wrong with leopard prints.
And it’s me again, I wore this outfit to visit friends. It was a casual outing and I just wanted to be simple but yet chic and this leopard print trouser works perfectly for the occassion.
One major thing to remember about leopard skin is that it blends well with bright colours and never goes wrong with black or white. Red adds a sexy touch to the total ensemble and gives you a sophisticated look.
